Essential Job Functions
- Assemble and process medical cables according to approved work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
- Operate manual and semi-automated cable processing equipment, such as cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, or overmolding equipment.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify product quality, dimensions, and workmanship.
- Conduct electrical and continuity testing of cables to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Accurately complete work order and batch record documentation, including lot numbers, test results, and inspection records.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products to supervision or Quality.
- Maintain traceability of materials and components throughout the manufacturing process.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and quality/ISO requirements where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing, cable assembly, or electronics assembly preferred.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
